5-Touch Follow-Up Sequence
The full sequence from Chapter 1, ready to send. Fill in the bracketed bits, keep the rhythm, and stop the moment they reply — a live conversation always beats the next scheduled touch.
Day 1 · immediately The instant reply (text)
TextHi [First Name], it's [Your Name] — got your note about [what they're looking for]. I'm on it. Quick question so I send you the right things: [one specific question, e.g. "are you hoping to stay in the same school zone?"]
Day 1 · evening The value drop (text)
Text[First Name], found [2–3] places that fit what you described — including one at [Property Address] that just [hit the market / dropped in price]. Want me to send the details?
Day 3 The useful tip (text)
TextQuick heads-up, [First Name]: [one genuinely useful local tip — e.g. "two similar homes in that neighborhood went pending this week, so the good ones are moving"]. Still happy to send those listings over whenever you're ready.
Day 7 The soft check-in (email)
Email · subject: still thinking about [area]?Hi [First Name],
Checking in — no pressure. I put together a short list of [3–4] homes that match what you told me, including [Property Address]. Happy to walk you through them or adjust the search if your thinking has changed.
What's the most useful thing I could send you this week?
[Your Name] · [Your Phone]
Day 14 The market nugget (text)
Text[First Name], interesting shift: [one real market observation, e.g. "three new listings popped up near [neighborhood] this week"]. Could be good timing for another look — want an updated list?
Day 30 The graceful last touch (email)
Email · subject: should I keep looking for you?Hi [First Name],
It's been a few weeks, so I'll keep this short: should I keep an eye out for you, or has the plan changed? Either answer is totally fine — I'd just rather ask than keep texting into the void.
If you're still looking, tell me what's changed and I'll refresh everything.

Sequence rules
- They reply, the sequence stops. No exceptions. A human conversation always wins.
- Every touch adds value. A listing, a tip, a question — never "just checking in" or "bumping this up."
- Log everything. Note each touch and their response in your CRM or a simple spreadsheet. Future you needs the context.
- Personalize the brackets, keep the bones. The structure is proven; the details are yours.
- Unresponsive after day 30? Move them to your monthly newsletter list (see the Newsletter Starter Kit) and let the long game work.
